The Garden Room

When I visited Florence in her beautiful 1960s Richmond home, there was just one thing missing – an afternoon sunny spot to lose track of time with a book, relax with friends and enjoy the garden.

The new garden room provides just that. It’s a light-filled sanctuary, a place to pause between the house and the garden. On a warm sunny afternoon, the furniture could be moved into the garden; in cooler weather, retreat into the warmth of the garden room, a winter garden inspired by French verandas.
